INTERVIEW

Thanks for accepting an interview for our new artistic initiative.
Here are some questions for you, but do not hesitate to add anything you want. You can be as elaborate as you want in your answers!
From which age or happening did you start having an interest in photography?
I started a small hotel with my girlfriend 5 years ago,  and wanted to become better known for the hotel through photography and social media by photographing my immediate surroundings, and I discover my love and passion for photography.
Who do you greatly admire in the photographic arena and in other areas of the arts?
I am self-taught , I just follow my feelings to capture perfect photography and  sublime  light.  I love fine  art and paintings specially, I every day present fine art in social media.  I love the simplicity and structure  in art of artist  Ray Morimura, color, brush strokes  and texture in art of Van Gogh, and play of light and dark, and rich color palette  in art of Rembrandt van Rijn.

Do you think of particular themes at a time and how much time do you spend on planning this?
I am special  interested in photography during the golden hour, to capture moment of sublime light, Light in aura of gold gives to the whole photo the sign of eternity , and everything is beautiful. While other people love colors, I am always looking for the perfect light and texture, and use light to paint the special atmosphere of  landscape and give  perfect  moment  of heaven. I am interested in landscapes, seascape specially and landscapes with rich texture. I love contrast between light and darkness, texture of land and clouds, erosion, waves, storm, rain, and of course sublime light of sun rise and sunset.

Do you have to travel much to get exactly that special scene for your photography?
I have luck to live close to the sea and a big lake that are everyday inspiration. I love to travel, often travel and choose destination where I can find perfect scene for my photography. I traveled a lot through Spain, Greece, Malta, … where are landscapes  are beautiful, with gorgeous waves,  looking for a sublime moment of heaven to catch and make  forever captured in perfect photo.

Do you often just see something and know you have to capture it right away?
Absolutely …I am looking for perfect moment of sublime light, it lasts very short, and you must capture it right away or it is passing.  When all is arranged perfect, light, texture, formation of clouds, perfect waves, you must be prepared, to capture and to know what to emphasis and how to paint with the light.

Do you consider freedom of expression in art a fundamental right of creators and why?
This is self-evident to me, I love freedom of expression, without freedom in art there isn’t originality, freedom  is  fundamental for true  art that touches feeling.  I live in the Netherlands, where freedom of expression in art has long tradition.
Do you think that creativity should be a priority of educational systems and how would you encourage it?
Yes, creativity should be a priority of educational systems, a encourage the teachers to discover  talents of students, and help them to develop , because  every person has a talent. Life easier and more enjoyable, working with talent and  passion,  then you can  make every dream turn into reality.
Let's talk about creativity. What role should creativity play in society?
For me it is the creativity is the essence of man existence. I think that people should have all the space that need and freedom to develop themselves. Creativity is under any new patent or new idea, without creativity society can’t go forward,  for development of society  economics isn’t enough,  we need creativity and new way of thinking for new idea and new solutions.
What message would you like to convey with your photography?
I try to give a piece of peace in this hectic world, moment of sublime light with the sign of eternity , little piece of heaven on the  earth.
I want to preserve a little piece of heaven and the perfect moment forever preserved as a little masterpiece of sublime light and nature, two love in perfect photography.

What or who inspires you?
In the moment of sublime light  during the golden hour you come closer to nature,  and to yourself, and in that moment of feeling deep beauty of every moment, you feel how precious and beautiful is life itself.
What are your other interests?
I enjoy my freedom intensely, I love nature and spend a lot of my time  in the nature, I love to travel and discover new landscapes, cities and culture heritage, and I love social media, special Twitter, gives opportunities to share art and exchange knowledge and idea with the whole world without limits.

Thank you for providing us with your information. I appreciate the time you've given me!

Sincerely.
